Abetifi Youngsters Club in Holland donated £3,000 worth of books, pens, pencils, chalk, erasers and recreational equipment and supplies to Abetifi schools in Abetifi as part of the club’s social outreach to promote quality education in the area.
Beneficiary schools included Abetifi Practice Primary, Abetifi D.A. Basic School, Presbyterian Primary and JHS, Anglican D.A. and Roman Catholic Basic schools.
Mr. Edward A. Boateng, Chairman of the Club, said the gift was meant to help boost school enrolment.
Kwahu-East District Director of Education Ms. Ivy A. Owusu thanked the club for supporting efforts to improve education in the District.
Chief of Abetifi and Adontenhene of Kwahu Traditional Area Akyemfour Asiedu Agyemang III commended AYC for their generosity and encouraged them not to relent on their effort in providing support to the community.
