All participants in Philanthropy Spaceâ„¢ Ghana are special. We apply  ‘Special Member Communities’ classification for practical reasons only. It refers to unique communities that do not fit any of our regular communities. The process to register and join is similar to those of other Aistiphi Communities. However, there are some important differences and we highlight these in the information provided.
Because of the type of membership implicit in this category, we apply stringent controls and vetting to eliminate information risk problems. Therefore, after your register and pay your subscription, we will conduct elaborate checks to validate the account. We may request additional documentation. We ask prospective members to bear with us while the process is ongoing. Our goal is to complete these checks in five business days. Please, note that some cases may take longer.
While we are conducting our due diligence checks, your member account status will indicate ‘pending.’ Once information checks are completed, we will adjust your member status to verified. We will notify you by email and send you an electronic copy of your certificate of membership. At this point, you will be entitled to all privileges of members.
Embassies, missions, bilateral and multilateral arrangements in Ghana provide a wealth of international goodwill that has long been critical to Ghana’s development. Program interventions have ranged from basic goodwill outreach through high-level, major development assistance partnerships. The International Partners Ghana® is an innovation for documenting and publicizing partners’ goodwill contributions while situating the latter within the localized context of corporate philanthropy and civic community service.

Global Friends and Affiliates include international volunteer professionals, experts, students, groups and organizations. Members volunteer their expertise, time and other material resources in support of social causes in Ghana. Membership is reserved for organizations, groups and individuals who maintain a permanent portfolio of ongoing or regular programming. Members are part of Our Commonwealth of Goodwill®. Organizations and groups that undertake occasional programs need not register for membership. They can still publish their intervention in the Aistiphi Gazette at a non-member rate. Â
