The Achimota School branch of the Ghana United Nations Students and Youth Association (GUNSA) donated GHC2,000 to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Korle Bu teaching Hospital in Accra.

The donation is part of a Yearly Project Scheme by the Achimota School branch to impact the society.

President Achimota School Chapter of GUNSA Master Dela Denoo said he and his colleagues were touched by the work the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) had been doing over the years to save infant lives.

Matron of the Unit, Ms. Rejoice Abiwu was grateful for the gesture and commended GUNSA for helping shape the future leaders of the country through its educative programmes and activities.

Witnesses at the presentation included National President of GUNSA Mr. Kwashie Klu-Duvor, General Secretary Mr. Emmanuel J.K. Arthur and Achimota School GUNSA patrons Mr. Eric Eghan and Mr Eric Manu.
