ActionAid Ghana and TzuXing (TX) Foundation, a Taiwan-based charity constructed two classroom blocks for (kindergarten and Junior High School) for  Konkon community in the Ga South Municipality of Greater Accra. The two classroom blocks were constructed at the cost of US$105,307 were also resourced with classroom furniture and teaching-learning aids.

Commenting at the unveiling of the project, Head of Fundraising at ActionAid Ghana Mr Prince Osei Agyekum underlined the commitment of ActionAid to provide decent teaching and learning environments for Ghanaian school children.

A statement read on the behalf of the President of TX Foundation, Mr. Han-Jungi commended the Konkon community for their support and responsiveness, which helped to make the project a success. Mr. Han-Jugi also commended ActionAid Ghana for the transparent process that eventually led to the selection of the Konkon Community Basic School.

Other witnesses include Ms. She-Vera Anzagira (Regional Manager of Greater Accra/Volta Regional Programme of ActionAid), Mr. Victor Nyavor (representative of the Municipal Director of Education), Elisha N. Okai (representative of the Konkon community).

In a statement, Mr Victor Kofi Nyavor, who represented the Municipal Director of Education, expressed gratitude to ActionAid Ghana and TX Foundation for the gesture, adding that the expectations of the Ghana Education Service (GES)
