Employees of AirtelTigo donated food, clothing, school supplies and other essentials to La Wireless Cluster of Schools in Greater Accra and Sekondi School for the Deaf in Western Region. The outreach was part of the AirtelTigo’s ‘Season of Random Kindness‘ initiative, a major corporate social responsibility initiative that encourages employee volunteering as a way to give back to communities.

Chief Human Resources Officer at AirtelTigo Mr. Eric Adadevoh said creating value and improving lives was part of the company’s culture as demonstrated by staff donations and time invested in volunteering in Ghana’s communities. Mr. Adadevoh said AirtelTigo sees itself as development partners and hoped the donation would help support children at beneficiary schools.

Commercial Head for Western and Central Regions of AirtelTigo Mr. Judah Entsua-Mensah commended staff and teachers of Sekond School for the Deaf for nurturing and positively impacting the lives of children with special needs.

Headteachers of La Wireless Cluster of Schools and Sekondi School for the Deaf thanked  AirtelTigo staff for their support and gave the assurance that the donated supplies would be applied for the benefit of the students.

Through its annual ‘Season of Random Kindness‘ initiative, employees of the AirtelTigo support important social causes by investing time and resources to provide essential supplies for schools, hospitals and orphanages.
