 KEEPING GHANA’S SACRED PROMISE

How we address the needs of our society’s most vulnerable and marginalized members speaks volumes about our core values as a people. At the barest minimum, this ought to be our society’s most sacred obligation. Of course, we must pay attention to intelligent arguments about the need to get to the roots of these socio-economic problems. That said, our most vulnerable cannot wait until we find solutions. There is an urgency of now. We all can can do something.

Love is not patronizing and charity isn’t about pity. It is about love. … With charity you give love, so don’t just give money but reach out your hand instead.
