OUR PURSUIT OF A JUST SOCIETY
Ghana has its fair share of deep socio-cultural, economic and political structures that empower and privilege some individuals and groups while disempowering and disarticulating others, especially women and girls, individuals living with special needs and ethnic minorities. A complex intersection of age, gender, education level, income status, rural v. urban residence, disability status, etc. define people’s vulnerability. We end up with an uneven field of daily life in which the disadvantaged get less and less access to resources and opportunities.
