Whatever we think of government institutions and their numerous problems, they can be a force for good. This is why it is in our interests to strengthen state institutions so they can deliver on their mandates and promise. At a time when public resources are overstretched by growing and competing demands, corporate and civic resources mobilized within Ghana’s Philanthropy Spaceâ„¢ has become, and will continue to be even the more crucial.
The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only object of good government.
