The 1987 Year Group of Tweneboa Koduah Senior High (Akyerema ‘87) refurbished and furnished the school’s computer lab with 30 desktop computers, accessories and internet facility. The project cost the alumni group an estimated GHS 60,000. In addition, the 1987 Year Group extended water supply to the school kitchen and main reservoirs.

Inaugurating the projects at the school in Kumawu in Ashanti, Mrs. Janet Wiredu-Opoku, a member of Akyerema ’87, said the refurbished computer lab would enhance teaching and learning and enable the students to improve upon performance.

The alumni group described the projects a token to show their the institution which helped shape their dreams and made them better citizens.

Headmaster of Tweneboa Kodua Senior High School Mr. John A. Bawuah thanked the 1987 Year Group and noted that the pipe-borne water project could not have come at a better time to help the school address its water access challenges.
