Amaris Terminal donated furniture, computers and office supplies to the Marine Port and Railways Unit of Ghana Police Service to support their work in maintaining security at the port, which is an important national asset.

Mr. Alex Atakorah, Managing Director of Amaris Terminal Ltd, said the donation was in line with the Amaris Terminal’s commitment to supporting social development. Mr. Atakorah noted that while the resources provided might not seem to be much, Amaris hoped the gift would support the work of officers.

Commander of the Marine Police Unit Chief Supt. Joseph Ababio, expressed gratitude and noted that it would contribute invaluably to the the units daily operations. Chief Supt. Ababio described the donated computers as the best the unit had received so far. He said the computers would facilitte data processing and enable the unit to provide reports quicklier.
