Amicus Onlus Ghana donated hospital beds, adult diapers and other medical consumables to the Saltpond Hospital in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region.
Administrator of Amicus Onlus Ghana Mr Isaac Baiden said the NGOs aim was to make was healthcare services accessible to residents of deprived rural communities. Mr. Baiden underlined the the need for the private sector to support health care providers and facilities in rural areas which lag behind in all vital indicators.
Over the years, Amicus Onlus Ghana has collaborated with its partners Dr. Lino Masini and Dr. Alessandro Silva to support the Saltpond Hospital and other health institutions in the Central Region.
Medical Superintendent of Saltpond Municipal Hospital Dr Derek A. Bonsu received the items on behalf of the hospital and commended the NGO for reaching out.
