The Apostolic Church Ghana contributed GhS70,000 to the COVID-19 Trust Fund to support government efforts at dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Vice President of the Apostolic Church Ghana Apostle Frederick Agyeman said the church looked to support the socially vulnerable and people in need.

Apostle Agyeman call for the entire Ghanaian public to rally behind the government and support its efforts at finding a lasting solution to the problem. He gave the assurance that the church would pray consistently and fast to seek God’s intervention.

Chief of Staff at the Office of the President Mrs. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare expressed the gratitude of President Akufo-Addo and the people of Ghana for the benevolence of the church. She urged Ghanaians living in areas affected by the partial lock down to comply with the restrictions to ensure that the country was able to halt the spread of the pandemic.
