Marketing Manager of Arla Foods Mr. Wilson Agbeko observed that Dano had headlined the celebration of World Milk Day in Ghana for the past three years. He explained that World Milk Day meant a lot more to Arla Foods than just a day to create awareness of the benefits of dairy. “This is what inspired our resolve to take our milk consumption advocacy a step further this year,” Mr. Agbeko explained.

Ms. Deloris Frimpong-Manso (‘Delay’), Brand Ambassador for Dano Milk, spent some time to motivate the children at the orphanage to dream big beyond the immediate walls of the orphanage. Ms. Frimpong-Manso used her personal story of struggle and eventual success to serve as an example for their children. Ms. Frimpong-Manso urged the children to not let their present circumstances prevent them from aspiring to greater heights. She encouraged the children to tap into their inner strength to attain their higher goals.

Mr. Nii Afotey Botwe, Founder of New Life Orphanage, received the Dano products and expressed gratitude for the kind support. Mr. Botwe said meeting the dairy needs of the children had been a major challenge and described the supportive partnership with Arla Foods is a dream come true.
