CDH Asset Management Ltd, a subsidiary of CDH Financial Holdings gave GHC15,000 in grant assistance to Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC). It will also fund an award for the overall best student in Defence and International Politics.

The grant is part of CDH’s Defence Empowerment Program (DEP), which supports selected strategic projects and program of security services in Ghana. Executive Director of CDH Asset Management Mr. Seth Aryitey, said CDH Group had been unrelenting in its support for the Armed Forces because of the company’s belief in the mandate of the Ghana Armed Forces and the importance of their mission to Ghana’s peace and security.

Mr. Aryitey noted that besides demonstrating responsible corporate citizenship and patriotism, it made business sense to invest in peace and security considering that CDH’s businesses could only thrive in an environment of peace and security, which the Armed Forces safeguard.

Receiving the cheque, Commandant of GAFCSC Rear Admiral Amoama recognized the immense contributions of the CDH Group to the College and the economy of Ghana. He expressed the military’s appreciation for the gift and looked forward to an enduring relationship between CDH and the Armed Forces.
