ASA Savings and Loans Limited donated a 1,000 gallon polytank to students of Jachie Sheltered Employment & Training Centre for the Disabled at Jachie Pramso in the Bosomtwi District of Ashanti Region.
The company also gave the school 200 plastic chairs, food supplies and toiletries as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.
Asa Savings and Loans Ltd had set aside a budget of $72,000 for the year to finance the company’s corporate philanthropy commitments across the country.
Junior Regional Manager of Asa Savings and Loans Mr. Felix Ahiadome, explained that the company was driven by the passion and love for humanity and had undertaken such efforts to ensure that life became more meaningful for the disadvantaged and for persons with disability.
Principal of Jachie Sheltered Employment & Training Centre for the Disabled Mr. Fatau Fuseini received the gift and commended the ASA Savings and Loans for their generosity.
