This donation cumulatively sums up all donations made so far to 1,000,000.00

Awake Purified Drinking Water, working through its ONE 4 Life philanthropy program, donated GHC75,000 to the National Cardiothoracic Centre on St. Valentine’s Day.

The donation was the 9th time the ONE 4 Life initiative had given to the center and the the current donation brings total funds donated to the center since 2016 to GHC1 million.

The milestone was marked with a special feature of Christian gospel artist Mrs. Diana Antwi-Hamilton who thanked Awake Water’s consumers and retailers for their loyalty and support in making the feat possible.

Mrs. Antwi-Hamilton expressed pleasant surprise that a million-cedi milestone had been reached over a short period.

For every purchase of a 500ml bottle of Awake Water, the company donates 10p to the Cardio Center to support patients who patients with heart conditions who need care but cannot afford the costs of heart procedures.

Awake Water’s Director for Water and CSD, Ms. Eunice Adjei announced  that 66 patients have so far benefited from support from the One4Life Campaign. Ms. Adjei noted that with consumers and stakeholders’ support, the company’s dream of building a formidable brand and a great corporate social responsibility program had been very successful.

Dr. Lawrence Sereboe, Head of the National Cardiothoracic Centre, received the cheque  on behalf if the Centre and thanked the Awake Purified Drinking Water and Kasapreko Company Ltd. for their sustained commitment to the Centre.
