Awake Purified Water, a brand of Kasapreko Company Ltd gave GHS150,000 to the National Cardiothoracic Centre of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. Marketing Manager of Kasapreko Company Ltd Mr. Evans Kwofie. announced the the donated funds came from the company’s profits for the second and third quarters of 2020. The gift brings total donations made to the Centre since 2016 to GHS1.4M

Mr. Kwofie noted Kasapreko Company Ltd. believed strongly in giving back to society, and pointed out that the brand had kept up its promise consistently since 2016. He pointed out that no other brand in Ghana could boast of such unprecedented feat. Some 83 patients have been supported at the National Cardiothoracic Centre with funds provided by the Awake Purified Water brand. Mr. Kwofie said there a still many more people waiting in line to get the support they desperately need from the company.

In touting its phenomenal achievement in CSR Philanthropy, the Kasapreko Company Ltd paid tribute to the consumers, distributors and sellers of Awake Purified Drinking Water, without whom the extraordinary support for patients at the Centre would not have been possible.

Executive Director of the National Cardiothoracic Centre Dr. Lawrence Sereboe received the cheque from Mr. Evans Kwofie and expressed gratitude to Awake Purified Drinking Water and Kasapreko Company Ltd. for sustaining their commitment to the centre. Dr. Sereboe appealed to other companies and individuals to follow suit and support the centre.

Awake Purified Water has a made a major commitment over the past few years to support the National Cardiothoracic Centre through the brand’s One4Life project, which provides funds to patients at the Centre who cannot afford the cost of medical care and heart surgeries.
