Awake Purified Drinking Water, a product of Kasapreko Company Ltd, gave the National Cardiothoracic Centre GH¢75,000 to help pay medical bills of heart surgery patients in need of financial assistance. The social outreach has been three years in running and is a part of the brands CSR Philanthropy commitments.

Some Ghanaian celebrities participated in the charity event to help draw attention the important cause. They included Bola Ray, Nana Ama McBrown, Dope Nation, Kwame Eugene and OB Amponsah.

Mr. Chris Addo-Sarkodie, Marketing and Sales Manager for Awake Purified Drinking Water said giving to the National Cardiothoracic Centre on Valentine’s Day was a statement the brand’s genuine affection for customers.

Mr. Addo-Sarkodie explained that Kasapreko relates to the difficulties and challenges faced by individuals living with heart diseases and their families. He commended the Cardio Centre for the outstanding job it does with donated funds.

Dr. Lawrence Sereboe, Director of the Cardio Center, received the donation and expressed his appreciation to Dr. Kwabena Adjei (Founder of Kasapreko), Mr. Richard Adjei (Managing Director of Kasapreko), Mr. Gerald Bonsu (Commercial Director) and the management of Kasapreko and Awake Purified Drinking Water. He also thanked Ghanaians for contributing to the great cause through their purchase of the Awake water. The company donates a fixed amount to the cause for every bottle of Awake water purchased by customers.
