Beiersdorf Ghana, producers of Nivea products, donated a food van to nonprofit Food for All Africa (FFAA), to help the in the distribution of food to vulnerable families in selected communities. The gift was made after a previous support in grants of GHS1.7 million provided by Beiersdorf Ghana in October 2020 yielded good results.

Country Manager of Beiersdorf CWA Mr. Olivier Bodson commended Food for All Africa for maximizing the use of the grants from Beiersdorf to provide food for the majority of people in the target communities. A statement from Mr. Bodson said the food van would help reach more rural and hard-to-reach areas. The statement added that the use of the van would help increase the number of hot meals served to beneficiaries every week.

“With this increase in transport capacity, the FFAA would be able to distribute much needed nutritional support to communities in rural areas that had previously been difficult to access; increase the number of hot meals served to beneficiaries on a weekly basis, and facilitate culinary training for mothers and vulnerable youth within rural areas.” – Olivier Bodson
