Beta Malt Ghana gave two tertiary education scholarships worth GHC30,000 to the best male and female outstanding athletes in the 31st Inter-Regional Senior High Schools Sport Festival held in Bolgtanga in the Upper East Region.

The award recipients, Mr. Foster Ametsi and Ms. Grace Obour, both from TI Ahmadiyya Senior High School in Ashanti, received GHC15,000.00 each. Ms. Grace Obour won gold medals for 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters and as well as all relays. Mr. Foster Ametsi won gold medals in long jump and Triple Jump.

Brands Manager of Beta Malt Mrs. Portia Offei Asare said the Beta Malt brand believes in providing experiences that will play meaningful roles in the lives of consumers and empower young Ghanaians to pursue their dreams. The company believes the support will help keep alive the dreams of student athletes who look out for a future in sports.

Mrs. Asare urged the athletes to strive for success with Beta Malt as their beverage champion on their way up to becoming a new generation of athletic ambassadors for Ghana.

The prize winners were grateful to Accra Brewery Limited for the scholarship to pursue higher education and excellence in sports.
