Female motorcycle group Biker Girls GH held a charity bike ride to Kinder Paradise Children’s Home in Prampram in Greater Accra Region. Club members spent a full day interacting with kids at the homes. They played fun games, held a mentoring and motivational session and feasted with the children at the home.

The charity bike ride was part of the group’s Christmas projects and was held under the auspices of Biker Hearts Foundation, a subsidiary of Biker Girls GH. Club members donated to the home books, rice, cooking oil, canned tomato paste, beverages, confectionaries, drinking water, toiletries and sanitary supplies and other essential supplies.

Biker Girls GH members also took turns to share words of encouragement with the kids during mentoring sessions. Founder of Biker Girls GH Mrs. Jessica Opare Saforo described the charity ride as important because it ensured that the kids were not marginalized during the festive occasion. Mrs. Saforo said club members were on hand to celebrate the occasion with the kids and to inspire them.

Kinder Paradise Children’s Home is home to rescued victims of child trafficking, street kids and orphans.
