Brussels Airlines donated clothing to 69 residents of Kinder Paradise at Prampram in Greater Accra. Kinder Paradise is a center that shelters and provides for the upkeep of orphans, street children, abused children and other vulnerable children. The gift was made as part of Brussels Airlines’ CSR program during the company’s Impact Week.
Country Manager of Brussels Airlines Rita Macedo said the outreach was part of the Airline’s B.Foundation outreach. Country Manager Macedo said as a member of the Lufthansa Group, it was in the company’s interest to continue supporting Kinder Paradise in order to provide vulnerable children a shot at education and a decent housing.
Ms. Silke Roesner, Founder and Director of Kinder Paradise, commended donors and sponsors for their help over the years and explained that more lives could be touched if more corporate bodies came come on board to support the effort. Kinder Paradise has been in existence for 21 years and has been sustained by support from donors and sponsors over the years.
