Capemay Properties Ltd. made a major gift to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and 37 Military Hospital. The package provided to both hospitals included:

  • 2000 packs of Awake Purified Drinking Water
  • 2,400 individual face masks
  • 15,000 sets of gloves
  • 2,400 bottles of hand sanitizers
  • 1,200 bottles of rubbing alcohol and
  • boxes of Dettol and hand washing soap.

Further, to show appreciation and support for doctors and nurses working at the frontline of the pandemic, Capemay Properties also provided a special package to be distributed to the respective healthcare professionals in both hospitals. The package included:

  • 1000 packs of Awake Purified Drinking water
  • 1,200 individual face masks
  • 1,200 bottles of hand sanitizers
  • 600 bottles of rubbing alcohol
  • 4,000 sets of gloves
  • 600 packs of soft drinks and
  • 50 packs of toilet roll

Mrs. Eunice Adjei Bonsu, CEO of Capemay Properties noted that while the  coronavirus pandemic remained a global crisis, we still must fight it locally, which is why there was the need to support government and health institutions leading the charge in providing care for patients. Mrs. Bonsu said the health and well-being of doctors and other healthcare professionals is crucial at this time and Capemay Properties would not let them down.

The donation was a major boost for healthcare workers who are still grappling with a growing number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 disease in Ghana. Representatives of doctors and nurses from both Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and 37 Military Hospital expressed deep gratitude for the thoughtful support provided by Capemay Properties.
