The Women’s Ministry of Christ Apostolic Church Int. gave items worth GH¢30,000 to Mahyia District Hospital in Kumasi. The items, included toiletries, laundry supplies, an LED TV, toys, beddings, diapers, satellite antenna, syringes, weighing scales, thermometers, towels, gloves etc.

The gift was made during the National Good Women Ministry’s convention at Bantama in Kumasi.

Making the presentation, Mrs. Ernestina Afrani, National President of the Women’ Ministry, said she was happy about God’s blessings over the past 100 years of the church’s existence.

Coordinator of Medical Staff Dr. K. Opoku received the donation on the hospital’s behalf and thanked the women’s ministry for the gesture. Dr. Opoku said the items which covered all the areas of the hospital’s need had brought a great relief to staff and patients who sometimes found it difficult to provide the needed services especially to patients who cannot afford the total cost of treatment. He appealed to other institutions to also assist to help run the facility better.

Witnesses at the presentation even were Apostle Dr E. O. Donkor (General Secretary of the church), Apostle Michael Nimo (Former Chairman).
