Charlotte Prive, an upscale, made-in-Ghana fashion brand is partnering with WaterAid Ghana’s ‘Fashion4Change’ campaign to raise funds to reach more people with water, sanitation and health services.
The fashion house has created an exclusive collection, that gives back to eliminate WASH poverty with every dress purchase.
Nana Kwame Adusei, award-winning Creative Director of Ćharlotte Prive explained that having grown in imagination and influence, it is of utmost importance to Charlotte Prive to use this influence to positively impact its community. Mr. Adusei said WaterAid inspired Charlotte Prive to follow their lead in driving water and sanitation efforts, because every Ghanaian deserves access to clean water and sanitation.
Country Director of WaterAid Ghana, Abdul-Nashiru Mohammed said the organization was delighted to work with a creative and passionate designer, who is committed to contributing his talent to ensure social justice.
Access to WASH is an essential prerequisite for communities to prosper. Mr. Mohammed said over the last 30 years, WaterAid Ghana has reached over 2.3 million Ghanaians with water, sanitation and hygiene services and has helped improve sanitation for some 900,000 people.
