The Church of Pentecost – Asokwa Area built a GH₵22,000-sheltered-bus-stop at KNUST campus. The bus stop, which is located opposite the Tackie Building will serve commuting students, staff and people in neighboring communities.

Asokwa Area Head Prophet James Amaniampong dedicated the facility to the Vice-Chancellor of KNUST Prof. Kwasi Obiri-Danso. Prophet Amaniampong said the gift was part of the Church’s five-year ‘Vision 2023: Possessing the nations’ project. He explained that church’s goal is to affect every sphere of social life by contributing to a clean and safe environment for all.

Vice-chancellor Kwasi Obiri-Danso commended the church for their kind gesture and encouraged other churches to support the University in similar ways.
