CiMAF Ghana Ltd donated 300 bags of cement valued at GH₵9,600 to College of Art and Built Environment (CABE) to support the construction of a six-storey lecture hall and office Complex for the College.

Mr. Joseph Aboo, Director of Sales and Marketing, assisted by Managing Director Mohammed Binnis presented the CIMAF cement to Prof. Joshua Ayarkwa, Provost of the CABE.

Ms. Nana Yaa Konadu, Head of Brands at CiMAF Ghana, said the donation is part of efforts to establish a partnership with KNUST to train professionals in the built environment. Ms. Konadu said the two institutions will continue to collaborate in areas of training, research, staff and students exchange programmes and through continued assistance to the College and the University.

Professor Ayarkwa described the donation as highly welcome and a prompt response to an appeal made by the College for support for the construction of the Complex. Prof. Ayarkwa explained that the need for the Complex has become crucial because of the high number of students being admitted each year.

Prof. Ayarkwa pledged the College’s and by extension the University’s support in promoting high-quality global cement on the Ghanaian market to experts and players in the built environment.
