COCOBOD donated gave students of Atewase M.A. Basic School in Kwahu West District a package of clothing, footwear, chocolates, exercise books and pens. The company also gave solar panels to 60 residents of Atewase commnity to support children’s night time studies. The gift was part of COCOBOD’s Child Education Support Scheme.

Deputy CEO of COCOBOD in charge of Agronomy and Quality Control Mr. Emmanuel A. Dwomoh said COCOBOD has maintained its commitment to improve living standards of residents of cocoa-growing communities.

Headmaster of Atewase M.A. Basic School Mr. Eric Acheampong who received the gift package on behalf of the school and thanked COCOBOD for the kind gesture. The presentation event was witnessed by officials of COCOBOD and Chief of Atewase Nana Frimpong Siaw.
