Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) provided hospital equipment for the Seventh-Day Adventist Church (SDA) Hospital in Breman. The equipment included hospital beds, trolleys, a monitor, a fridge, Xray viewers and other equipment. The gift was part of Consolidated Bank Ghana’s regional CSR activities and commitments to selected institutions.

Director of Retail and Business Banking at CBG Mr. Emmanuel Niikoi noted that CBG remained committed to support healthcare in Ghana, especially during these COVID-19 times. Mr. Niikoi was confident that the equipment provided fulfills CBG’s mandate to stand with the bank’s customers and help address some of the health needs of the residents of the Breman area. Ashanti Regional Manager of CBG Mr. Eric Kwarteng expressed his appreciation of the relationship CBG had with the SDA Hospital.

Dr. Anthony Eric Eshun, Medical Director of SDA Hospital and a team from the hospital received the equipment with appreciation and commended the bank for the kind gesture.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana, CBG had undertaken several CSR intervention projects to support the national fight against the pandemic. This includes providing various supports the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, the COVID-19 National Trust Fund, the Ministry of Health, the University of Ghana Medical Centre, the LEKMA Hospital, and the Korle-Bu Nursing Training School.
