DDG Charitable Trust donated US$6000 to help pay for surgery costs for Master Solomon Obeng, a two-year-old boy with has a hole-in-heart condition. Master Obeng is currently being prepared for surgery at the National Cardiothoracic Centre of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. The surgical procedure is scheduled for March 2020.

Four members of the charitable trust Messrs Shyam Lakhwani, Ashok Amin, Neelesh Bhatia and Prakash Khanchandani presented the cheque for $6000 Dr Lawrence Sereboe, Executive Director of the Cardio Centre. Dr. Sereboe thanked members of the trust and the Indian community in Ghana for the assistance.

DDG Charitable Trust was founded by 10 Indian trustees to support charitable and social causes in Ghana. The trust provided similar assistance for another child in 2018.
