The school management and PTA of Doribabs School complex in Cape Coast renovated the one-storey Abura Asebu Kwamankese District Education Office as part of the school’s community service commitments on the occasion of the school’s 10th anniversary.
The renovation included painting of the office complex and furnishing the offices of the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese District Education office and the Mfantseman District Education office with laptop computers and stationary worth GHS10,000.
Founder of Doribabs School Complex Mrs. Doris Baaba Simpson said the renovation was critical because the building was not in the best shape as a safe and congenial work environment. Prior to its facelift, the building had not seen any renovations since 1987.
District Director of Education Mrs. Justine Apawu and District Chief Executive Mrs. Felicia Aba Hagan expressed gratitude for the kind gesture. Mrs. Hagan entreated the school to keep up making the district proud through its reputation as a beacon of academic excellence.
