Electroland Ghana Ltd. (EGL) donated high-end air conditioners to Chale Foundation to support its work in providing health screening for students at the Aboom Special Needs School in Cape Coast.
Chale Foundation screened some 200 individuals including the special needs children, parents and teachers of the Aboom Special Needs school in Cape Coast.
Beneficiaries received optometric and general health screening exams from Chale Foundation’s health professionals. The special needs students of the school were also registered with the National Health Insurance Scheme, so they can access healthcare after the outreach.
The donation was received by Mr. Elorm Tetteh, Director of Funding and Social Media at Chale Foundation.
Mr. Tetteh expressed Chale Foundation’s appreciation for the kindness. He noted that the gift would enable the foundation provide better support for beneficiaries of the initiative.
Marketing supervisor for Electroland Ghana Mrs. Adissa Ibrahim described Chale Foundation’s work for the vulnerable as worthy of greater support.
