Electroland Ghana Ltd donated a $1,000 to wheelchair tennis star Maclean A. Dzidzinyo in support of his participation in the British Wheelchair Tennis Open 2018. Maclean will be the only African taking part in the tennis competition.

Making the donation to Maclean at their head office, Electroland said it was touched by the exploits of Maclean in his career, and the urgent need of support to enable him take part in this competition.

Adiza Ibrahim, marketing executive at Electroland Ghana said Electroland’s gift to Mr. Dzidzinyo is to support his accommodation, boarding and local travel. She noted that a “a successful Maclean will inspire thousands of physically challenged people” and send home the message that “disability is not inability.”

Mr. Dzidzinyo was grateful for the Electroland’s support and to use the upcoming opportunity to inspire his colleagues in wheelchair tennis.

Electroland Ghana is the brand owner of NASCO Electronics and the major distributor of Samsung and Midea products in Ghana.
