The Empowerment Worship Centre Church (EWC) donated a package of nose masks, examination gloves, protective clothes, hand sanitizers and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge Hospital) in support of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. he presentation, which was made on behalf of the lead Pastor of the Church, Pastor Gideon Danso.

Pastor Paul Lartey, a campus pastor of the EWC at West Hills, expressed the church’s expectation that the gift would provide support to frontline  healthcare workers and accelerate the fight against the coronavirus. A statement by a pastoral delegation of EWC emphasized the need to support the hospital at a critical time. The statement also encouraged Ghanaians not to panic, but instead, to have faith even in trying times.

Medical Director of Greater Accra Regional Hospital Dr. Emmanuel Srofenyoh received the items and expressed grattitude to the EWC for the generous donation. Dr. Srofenyoh reiterated the appeal to citizens and residents of Ghana to adhere to all precautionary measures recommended by health authorities to help keep themselves safe as well as their loved ones.
