Fidelity Securities Limited, a subsidiary of Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited, donated hospital equipment and supplies to the Paediatrics Department of Police Hospital in Accra. The assistance package included a CPAP machine, perfusor, X-Ray viewer, pulse oximeter, digital thermometer, paediatric ambubag, industrial nebulizing machine, oxygen concentrator (5L) and oxygen flow meter. The donated equipment would help support the improvement of care child patients at the unit.

Personal Statement

Mr. Edward Opare-Donkor, board member of Fidelity Securities Limited, remarked that Fidelity Securities was “more than grateful” to be able to fulfil its civic duty by helping to save the lives of children across Ghana who sought care at the Police Hospital.

Mr. Opare-Donkor noted that this was just the beginning of Fidelity Securities Limited’s relationship with the Police Hospital, and encouraged the hospital staff to continue to show selfless sacrifice to the nation.

Medical Director of the Police Hospital, Dr. Ebenezer Ewusi-Emmim (Deputy Commissioner of Police – DCOP), expressed appreciation for for the support provided by Fidelity Securities at a very critical time. Dr. Ewusi-Emmim said the hospital would put the resources provided to their best use. He encouraged the company and other corporate organizations to to continue to support the children’s unit to deliver first-class health services to Ghanaians.
