Ghana Community Network Services Ltd (GCNet) gave 450 laptops worth US$247,000 to Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA). The gift was part of GCNet’s commitment to support GRA and the Government of Ghana to strengthen the country’s revenue generation capacity.

The laptops will facilitate operations of field officers of the Domestic Tax Revenue Division (DTRD) of GRA to boost domestic revenue collection. Executive Chairman of GCNet Dr. Nortey Omaboe was confident the laptops would help officers of DTRD use the Total Revenue Integrated Processing Systems (trips TM) deployed by GCNET.

Deputy Minister of Finance in charge of Revenue Mr. Kweku Kwarteng received the laptops on behalf of GRA.
