Staff at the head office of Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA) in Accra reached out to children at the Princess Marie Louise Hospital and donated five units of air conditioners to support the operation of the hospital.

CEO of Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA) Ms. Benonita Bismarck said funds used to purchase the air conditioners were raised through weekly offertory collected at Friday morning devotions. She described the gift from GSA staff as a token that would hopefully help alleviate some of the financial burdens on hospital management.

Ms. Bismarck said children were important in the eyes of God and critical for national development. She drew attention to the need to ensure that children are give the proper care they need to develop well.

Medical Superintendent of Princess Marie Louise Hospital Dr. Mame Yaa Nyarko thanked GSA staff for the kind gesture and assured the staff team that the air conditioners will be installed and used to provide comfort for the children at the hospital.
