Give Hope Global, a US nonprofit, donated medical equipment to the Pepease Health Centre to help promote quality healthcare. The gift included a centrifuge, hospital beds and a code cart. In addition, Give Hope Global gave the centre two new X-150 motorbikes to support the centre’s follow-up care, its outreach to underserved communities and its monitoring of other health centres in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region.

Mr. Osei Mensah, who presented the package to the health center said it was part of the nonprofit’s social outreach to people in the community. Mr Mensah announced that Give Hope Global was considering assistance to the Pepease Health Centre an annual cause. He encouraged health workers to give off their best to help save lives.

Dr. David Mensah, Physician in-Charge of Peopease Health Centre, received the package and thanked Give Hope Global for their kindness. Mr. Mensah commended Dr. William Osei Ntim and Nana Frederick Osafo Ntim both of whom played an instrumental role in connecting the centre to Give Me Hope. Dr Mensah called on Kwahu Citizens at home and abroad to support health centres in Kwahu, especially those in deprived areas to minimise the hustle residents endure in accessing healthcare.
