The Public Relations Department of Global Media Alliance donated rice, gari, sugar, beverages and drinking water, toiletries and cleaning supplies to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital to mark Valentine’s Day 2020. The outreach to the hospital was part of the team’s ‘Break the Box’ project, which fundraises from staff of Global Media Alliance and well-wishers to support a selected institution or community in need of assistance every year on Valentine’s Day.

Chief Director of Global Media Alliance Ms. Emma Wenani said it gave Global Media Alliance team found much joy in contributing to such a worthy cause. Ms. Wenani remarked that the team believed that showing love ought not to be limited to people close to us. She said the Global Media Alliance considered the outreach an extension of its commitment to help society.

Deputy Director in Charge of Nursing Services (DDNS) at Accra Psychiatric Hospital Mr. Emmanuel Pappoe received the food and essential supplies and commended Global Media Alliance for the thoughtfulness and generosity of its team. Mr Pappoe said it was delightful to know there were institutions like Global Media Alliance that looked for ways to make the lives of others better.
