Glorious Word Power Ministries International donated hand sanitizers, veronica buckets, rice, cooking oil, soap, water, tissue papers and other supplies items to the Ghana Prisons Service. The gift was part of the church’s community service commitments and its members’ contribution to the fight against the pandemic.

Founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah said the critical supplies would ensure the safety of prison officers and inmates, noting that the prison officers had higher risk of of infection unless necessary safety precautions were taken.

Prophet Bempah encouraged all Ghanaians to observe personal hygiene as the disease continues to threaten countries with robust health systems. He commended government and health workers especially, the frontline team managing the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

The Director-General of the Ghana Prisons Servic Mr. Patrick Darko Missah was inspired by the church’s generosity and commended the leadership and members of the church for the gift. He recalled that Prophet Owusu Bempah’s generosity that has touched the Ghana Prisons Service is so many ways.
