GOIL gave a GHS50,000 worth package of PPE and critical supplies to the Ghana Police Hospital in Accra. The gift was made as part of GOIL’s outreach to frontline workers in the fight against the novel coronavirus disease. The package included medical scrubs, face masks, beddings, Veronica buckets, liquid soap, paper towel, hand sanitizers and gloves.
Group CEO and MD of GOIL Mr. Kwame Osei Prempeh remarked that GOIL would continue to play its role as an important partner in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus, making it an important part of its CSR commitments. Mr. Kwame Osei Prempeh also affirmed that GOIL’s would continue to work in collaboration with Ghana Police service to ensure uninterrupted supply of fuel to Ghana Police Service and other security services.
Medical Director of the Police Hospital Dr. Marian Korboe received the gift and expressed gratitude to GOIL for the company’s generosity. Dr. Korboe said the PPE and supplies had come in timely to help address COVID-19 resource needs of the hospital.
