Goldstar Air collaborated with Universal Kindness Outreach, a charitable NGO, to provide a package of clothing, toys, footwear, personal protective equipment and other supplies to the Osu Children’s Home at Labone in Accra. The support will assist managers of the Home provide for the child residents sheltered at the Home.

The two donor institutions supported the home because they recognized the contribution the home continues to make to provide for vulnerable children from less privileged backgrounds. Cargo Manager of Goldstar Air Mr. John Ashong Mettle and President of Universal Kindness Outreach Mr. Nii Amoo Dodoo co-led the visiting delegation to the orphanage and jointly presented the gift package.

Ms. Janet Ahiagah, a member of the management team at Osu Children’s Home, received the support package and expressed gratitude to Goldstar Air and Universal Kindness Outreach for reaching out to the home with such kindness. “It is our prayers that this gesture will be repeated in future to assist management to cater for the young ones who were at the home through no fault of theirs,” she remarked. Ms. Ahiagah gave the assurance that the Home will apply the resources provided diligently to the full benefit of the children. She appealed to other organizations to reach out and assist the Home.
