Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) donated 2,000 core mathematics books to 20 selected senior high schools in the Northern, Upper East and Upper West regions.

Deputy Marketing and Corporate Affairs Manager of GPHA Mrs. Nana Esi Soderberg said the books would enhance learning of math in the selected schools and ultimately contribute to the development of Ghana.

Mrs. Soderberg encouraged school authorities and teachers to continue supporting students who are weak at math. She also advised students to study hard and use the books diligently so the books will be in good shape to be used by their younger siblings.

Northern Regional Deputy Director of Ghana Education Service Mr. James D. Zinkoatah encouraged beneficiary schools to take advantage of the books provided to improve student performance at the West African Senior School Certificate Examination.

Mr. Zinkoatah thanked Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) for the kind gesture and assured them that the books will be made available to the students.
