The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) gave a Full Auto Biochemistry Analyser valued at GH¢75,000 (16,500) along with food supplies to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.

The Electronic Convulsive Therapy equipment was procured for the Accra Psychiatric hospital as part of the GRA’s corporate social responsibility program.

Commissioner-General of GRA Mr. Emmanuel K. Nti said the gift was a top priority for GRA because of the importance GRA attaches to health and mental well-being. Mr. Nti said that the equipment will greatly help improve the quality of health care provided by the hospital.

Director Accra Psychiatric Hospital Dr. Pinaman Appau expressed gratitude to the management of the GRA and said the equipment would go a long way to improve operations of the laboratory, which had been without some equipment for a long time.
