Charger Group Ltd, producers of Happy Man Bitters and Happy Man Ginger  provided a package of hospital equipment and a cheque for GHC20,000 to LEKMA Hospital in Teshie, Accra. The gift will help the hospital fight the spread of COVID-19.

The package included sets of infrared gun thermometer, blood pressure machine, face masks, disposable surgical gloves and disposable gowns. Others included toilet paper, hand soaps and hand sanitizers.

CEO of Charger Ltd. Dr. Emmanuel Bortey said the company was confident that the equipment and critical supplies provided would strengthen the hospital’s capacity to fight COVID-19. Dr. Bortey said the donation was part of Charger Group’s CSR commitments, but also noted that it was a privilege to join in the global fight against the pandemic.

Dr. Bortey said if every business organizations joined the campaign the fight would be effective. He urged the public to stay safe and observe all public health advisories.
