Hisense Ghana donated two brand new ambulances worth $90,000 to Apinto Government Hospital and the Tarkwa Municipal Hospital to support the enhancement of quality healthcare delivery to people in the respective municipalities and their catchments.

A statement from Hisense Ghana said quality healthcare delivery was an essential service for the people of every nation. The statement noted that the support provided by Hisense Ghana was in response to challenges of deficit in hospital equipment in Ghana. Brand Ambassador of Hisense Ghana Ms. Nana Ama McBrown said Hisense Ghana valued its support for health institutions because of its potential to impact the lives of many people.

Medical Superintendent of Tarkwa Municipal Hospital Dr. Frederick Yaw Sarpong and Dr Frank Baidoe-Ansah of Apinto Government Hospital received the ambulances on behalf of the beneficiary hospitals and thanked Hisense Ghana for the immense support.

Dr. Sarpong remarked that the ambulance will boost the hospital’s delivery of quality and efficient healthcare to people in the municipality. Dr. Baidoe-Ansah pledged to ensure that the ambulance was applied diligently to its intended use. Kurontehene of Apinto, Nana Kwabe Fosu expressed his appreciation to Hisense Ghana for the kind support.
