Hollard Ghana donated COVID-19 personal protection equipment (PPE) to five institutions in Ghana’s Northern Region in support of the fight against the spread of COVID-19 and to ensure the safety of frontline workers. Beneficiary institutions included Kamina Barracks Hospital, Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo), Regional office of Ghana Education Service, Tamale Airport, and Tamale-Bolgatanga Transport Union.

Branch Manager, Regional Markets of Hollard Insurance Ghana Mr. Sulley Mohammed Ali remarked that Hollard Ghana believes every frontline health worker ought to be protected in the course of the pandemic. Mr. Ali explained that the assistance aligned with Hollard Ghana’s principle to treat everyone with care and dignity. He also noted that the assistance was part of Hollard Ghana’s comprehensive initiative to safeguard essential service providers while creating awareness about the viral disease.

Medical Superintendent of Kamina Barracks Hospital Dr. Aaron Anos received PPE supplies and thanked Hollard Ghana for being thoughtful about the safety of frontline and essential workers. Dr. Anos explained that PPE remained highly sought-after during this trying time and that the donated supplies would boost the capacity of the beneficiary institutions to deliver the best of healthcare services to the people of Tamale.
