Holy Ghost Temple of ICGC, Adenta, built a six-unit classroom block and a teachers bungalow and provided a mechanized borehole facility for Chiranda L.A. Primary and Junior High School in Kintampo.

The church also gave supplies of water filters to the community.

Senior Pastor of the Church, Prophet Christopher Y. Annor, a Senior Pastor of the Church, who is an indigene of the town, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the church for helping to develop his native community.

Prophet Annor explained that quality education remains the pillar on societies develop. Therefore, he admonished parents in the community to show keen interest in, and support for, their children.

Kintampo Municipal Chief Executive Michael S. Baffoe thanked the church for the support, and appealed to the school to take good care of the facilities. Mr. Baffoe said the government appreciated the recognized the role churches play in facilitating accelerated national development, and appealed for more of such support for rapid socio-economic growth and development.

Mr Baffoe called on parents to provide their children with basic educational needs to sustain their interest in schools.
