The Kantanka Group donated food supplies worth GH¢80,000.00 to the National Chief Imam. The gift package included 20 bags of sugar, 50 bags of rice, 50 cartons of milk, 50 cartons of milo and 30 pieces of cloth, among others.

CEO of Kantanka Group Mr. Kwadwo Safo Jnr explained that the gesture was to honour the Chief Imam who turned 100 years in April for the important role he plays in promoting religious tolerance and social cohesion in Ghana. Mr. Safo commended Sheikh Sharubutu for leading an exemplary life for Ghanaians to emulate.

Receiving the items, the National Chief Imam expressed gratitude to KGC for the kind gesture and prayed that Allah continue to shower his blessings on all Kantaka’s humanitarian outreach.

Sheik Sharubutu called on government to support people with home grown businesses and ideas. He asked everyone to join government in supporting Ghanaian creativity and innovation like those of the Kantanka Group.

Sheikh Sharubutu also reiterated the importance of goodwill and generosity in promoting development in society and in attracting blessings from God. He called on all philanthropic individuals and organizations to emulate KGC and contribute their quota towards development wherever they found themselves and in Ghana as a whole.
