Kingdom Exim Ghana Ltd donated GHS10,000 in support of the 2020 edition of the National Farmers’ Day celebration. The company also donated a package comprising tricycles, blowers, fertilizers and pesticides at a brief event at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture in Accra. The support package demonstrates Kingdom Exim’s continued support for Ghana’s agricultural sector.

A Partner at Kingdom Exim Group and District Chief Executive for Techiman North Mr. Peter Mensah said the support package provided was directed towards supporting recognition/awards in the Tree-Crop Category. He reaffirmed the Group’s commitment to continue support for the Tree-Crop Category, even as the company looked to extend future contributions to other categories of awards and recognitions.

In comments made to Business & Financial Times, General Executive Manager of Kingdom Exim Group, Ms. Iftin Arthur-Afari said the Group was encouraged by government’s attention to tree crops – particularly cashew, oil palm, shea, coconut, mango and rubber, as evidenced by the impending establishment of the Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA).

Kingdom Exim Group believes that partnering with Ghana’s Ministry of Food and Agriculture, the Ministry would be able to assist the company in identifying and providing adequate support to farmers to help boost their production for the local market and for export.

Minister of State in Charge of Food and Agriculture, who is also Chairman of the planning committee for this year’s celebration, Dr. Gyiele Nurah recieved the support package from CEO and Managing Director of Kingdom Exim Group Mr. James Rajamani and Mr. Immanuel Rajamani.

Kingdom Exim Group was recipient of the Presidential Award at the Ghana Shippers Award for four consecutive years, 2015 to 2019.
